Dental Lace
Dental Lace exists to replace plastic floss. The default product is silk - a natural protein fiber that cannot be a fluoropolymer, so it sidesteps the PTFE/PFAS question by construction - coated in plant wax, packaged in glass and steel. For customers who avoid animal fibers it also sells a vegan floss made from PLA (corn bioplastic): compostable under industrial conditions but still a polymer thread, which the brand is upfront about rather than marketing as plastic-free.
How clear are their specs?
Names the fiber (silk), the coating (plant wax), and the packaging (glass + steel) plainly, and is explicit that the vegan alternative is PLA bioplastic.
