E-Cloth
E-Cloth's cloths are microfiber - 80% polyester, 20% polyamide by the company's own spec - which is to say plastic. The "chemical-free, just water" pitch is real and is a separate thing from the material question: the cloth works well and lasts, but it's a synthetic textile that sheds microplastic in the wash. It's documented here as the effective-but-plastic reusable that natural cloths replace, not as a plastic-free option.
How clear are their specs?
Publishes the exact 80/20 polyester/polyamide composition on the product page; the "chemical-free" marketing just doesn't mention microfiber shedding.
