Hestan

Specs clearly published Made in Italy hestanculinary.com ↗

Hestan's NanoBond is one of the few genuinely coating-free "upgraded stainless" lines: the titanium is metallurgically bonded into the steel surface rather than applied as a sol-gel or fluoropolymer layer, so there is no nonstick coating to wear out or shed, and nothing plastic in the food path. Handles and lids are stainless steel. Hestan doesn't market itself as plastic-free - it markets performance and durability - but the material outcome is a bare-metal pan.

How clear are their specs?

States the construction plainly: molecular titanium bonded to 18/10 stainless over a tri-ply pure-aluminum core, PFAS-free, and free of nickel, lead, and cadmium, oven/grill safe to 1050F.

Lead testing disclosure

Hestan's marketing states NanoBond is made without nickel, lead, or cadmium, but this is a bare claim - no named lab, test numbers, detection limits, or dedicated safety/testing page were found on hestanculinary.com. Independent XRF testing (Lead Safe Mama) of a Hestan NanoBond saucepan separately came back non-detect for lead and cadmium, but that is third-party testing Hestan does not appear to reference or promote itself.
