Kent
The reference plastic-free clothing brand: Kent's whole premise is a garment with zero synthetic content, including the part everyone else compromises on - the waistband. Where a "95% organic cotton" competitor adds elastane for snap, Kent leaves it out and relies on the cotton knit and a corozo-nut button, then points to compostability as proof there's no plastic to leave behind. The honest trade-off is a softer, less elastic band; the upside is the only genuinely plastic-free waistband in the category.
How clear are their specs?
Explicitly names what's excluded (no polyester, nylon, or elastane), states GOTS organic cotton, and backs the plastic-free claim with a compostability program. Very little guesswork.
