Our Place
Our Place leads with "free of PFAS, PTFE, PFOA, lead, and cadmium," and the Wonder Oven earns real credit: a stainless cavity and a bare chromed-steel mesh air-fry basket are about the least-compromised way to air-fry. But the "non-toxic" pitch does some work - the included bake pans still carry the Thermakind sol-gel ceramic coating, and like all such coatings it's an applied layer they don't fully characterize. Free-of-the-bad-stuff is not the same as no coating.
How clear are their specs?
Loud about what the coating is NOT (no PFAS/PTFE/PFOA/lead/cadmium) and clear that the air-fry basket is bare chromed steel, but the Thermakind sol-gel ceramic on the bake pans is a proprietary layer they don't fully spec.
Lead testing disclosure
Our Place claims its coatings are made "without PFAS, PFOAS, lead, and other heavy metals" and says this is backed by "rigorous third-party testing," but does not publish the actual test reports - reviewers who have asked for the underlying data report being told it's proprietary. No named lab, no ppm numbers, no public report, despite facing a PFAS lawsuit that specifically raised transparency concerns. Contrast with competitors like Caraway that do publish per-product lab reports.

Products we recommend
Titanium Always Pan Pro
Our Place's coating-free titanium pan - a micro-textured titanium cooking surface (NoCo) over tri-ply stainless, no sol-gel coating, no plastic in the food path.
Wonder Oven
An oven-style air fryer whose air-fry basket is bare chromed-steel mesh (no coating) - the least-compromised way to air-fry. The included bake pans do use Our Place's ceramic coating, so use the basket, skip the pans.
