Not a plastic-free brand across the board, but the SWK-1701 kettle genuinely earns the claim it advertises: a seamless 18/10 unibody tank with no plastic lid, window, or filter in the water path. The plastic-avoidance here is structural - there are simply no seams or windows for water to reach plastic through - rather than a company-wide philosophy. Plastic still forms the exterior handle and base, outside the water path.
How clear are their specs?
States "no plastic in contact with hot water" and the seamless-unibody construction, and the manual names 18/10 stainless, but the exterior plastics and any base sensor seal are not itemized.
