TreeBird designs plastic out of the floss entirely: a natural silk thread and candelilla plant-wax coating - neither of which can be a fluoropolymer - in a reusable glass or steel dispenser. It uses ahimsa (peace) silk, harvested after the moth has left the cocoon, for customers who want the material without the usual silk process.
