Munchkin Miracle 360 Trainer Cup 10oz

Munchkin Miracle 360 Trainer Cup 10oz

Not recommended

Munchkin's best-selling spoutless trainer cup, but the whole cup - body, the 360-degree rim the child drinks from, and the sealing valve - is BPA-free polypropylene, so the entire drink path is plastic.

We don't recommend this one

For a truly plastic-free trainer cup, choose the ezPz Tiny Cup (all-silicone open cup) or the Pura Kiki with a silicone sipper spout.

The verdict: Mostly plastic

The Miracle 360 is a plastic cup end to end. The body, the spoutless 360 silicone-ring rim that seals the drink, and the internal valve mechanism are all BPA-free polypropylene, so the water contacts plastic from the moment the cup is filled and passes over the plastic rim on the way to the child's mouth. A stainless steel version of the Miracle 360 exists, but even there the lid, the drinking rim, and the valve are still plastic - the steel only replaces the body, not the parts the drink touches. Included as a corrective: it is the category's #1 seller and marketed on being spill-proof and dentist-recommended, not on what it's made of.

The Miracle 360 is a genuinely clever spill-proof design - a spoutless rim the child can drink from at any point, which auto-seals when they stop, and which dentists prefer over a hard spout for oral development. It's a 10oz trainer cup with removable grip handles, dishwasher-safe, and sold nearly everywhere. A stainless steel version exists that swaps the body for steel. For a plastic-free transition cup, an open silicone cup or a steel-body cup with a silicone spout is the alternative.

Pros

  • Genuinely spill-proof and easy to clean, with few parts
  • Spoutless 360 rim is dentist-recommended for oral development
  • Inexpensive and available nearly everywhere

Cons

  • Entire drink path - body, rim, and valve - is BPA-free polypropylene
  • The steel version still uses a plastic lid, rim, and valve
