Nothing in the drinking path is plastic, which is unusual at this size and price - the default kids' insulated bottle has a polypropylene lid module with a plastic straw, and the spout is exactly the part a child's mouth is on every day. PlanetBox's own 12oz Pour Spout bottle still uses a polypropylene cap, so this is not a brand-wide guarantee; it is a property of this bottle.
