Option-O
Option-O builds machined-aluminum-and-steel grinders and markets them under an "All metal" heading, and on the LAGOM mini that holds up better than most — the only confirmed non-metal part in the bean path is a small removable finger guard, which many owners take out anyway.
The framing gets looser on the larger grinders. The marketing says "6061-T6 CNC machined and anodised aluminium" unscoped, but Option-O's own manuals scope it: "6061 CNC machined and anodised aluminium for motor housing and portafilter fork / 304 food grade stainless steel for critical parts." Which parts are "critical" is never enumerated. The P64 manual also discloses a food-safe dry-film PTFE lubricant on moving parts near the burr chamber, and tells owners not to wipe it off.
How clear are their specs?
Publishes real technical-specification tables in its user manuals, including the scoped materials line and the PTFE lubricant note — both more candid than the product pages. But the parts collection on the site is empty, no exploded diagram exists for any model, and the grind-path components (burr carrier, grind chamber wall, chute, the P64's internal sweeper) are never assigned a material anywhere.
