Pyrex

Specs partially disclosed Made in USA pyrexhome.com ↗

The glass itself is the honest part of Pyrex: inert, non-leaching, and a real upgrade over plastic tubs. The catch is the lids. Every Simply Store and storage set ships with a plastic (BPA-free polypropylene) snap lid that contacts food when the container is full, inverted, or sealed over hot food, and degrades with heat and dishwasher cycles over time. Note also that modern US Pyrex is tempered soda-lime glass, not the borosilicate the brand was historically famous for.

How clear are their specs?

Pyrex clearly labels lids BPA-free and states glass vs. plastic components, but does not prominently disclose that current US glass is soda-lime (not borosilicate) or fully characterize the lid plastic beyond "BPA-free."

Minimal plastic contact Not recommended

The glass base is genuinely great - but the snap lid is plastic that contacts food and steam. The classic "I switched to glass, but the lid betrays you."
