Petit Bateau's classic briefs are a community favorite because the waist and leg elastic is fully wrapped in the cotton rib knit - so, like Cottonique's covered-band approach, only cotton sits against the skin. An organic-cotton version, grown without GMOs and certified to OEKO-TEX Standard 100, is offered. The covered elastic core is still synthetic, which keeps it at minimal-contact, but with no exposed elastane and no nylon lace it's a clean everyday cotton brief.
